Tampering with a natural gas meter, pipeline or any other related equipment not only will put you at risk, but all neighbors and the community as well. 



Natural gas pipelines may be located close to sewer line, so please take immediate action if you should encounter any of the following signs the next time you clean out a sewer line.

  • A strong natural gas odor at the clean out or inside the building served by the sewer line.
  • Bubbles rising through standing water or in the toilet bowl.

If these signs are present, stop what you are doing and have everyone immediately evacuate the premises and leave the building’s doors open.

Do not turn on or off any light switches, or use other sources of ignition.

When you reduce your use you save water and money

1, Adjust sprinklers so only your lawn is watered and not the house, sidewalk or street.

2. If you don’t have  dishwasher, hand-wash dishes by filling one sink with waer and he other with rinse water.

3. Wash only full loads of laundry and dishes to maximize water use.

4. Cover pool and spas and check for leaks around the pumps.

5. Monitor your water bill for unusually high use- a sign of a leak.

6. Water outdoors in the morning to minimize evaporation, 

7. Spread mulch around plants to retain soil moisture.

8. Sweep your driveway and sidewalks instead of hosing them down.

9. Collect the water used for rinsing fruit and vegetables and use it to water houseplants.

10. Check for leaks inside and outside, and repair them.

11. Turn off the water when you brush your teeth or shave.

12. Replace older toilets, shower heads, faucets and washers with water-efficient fixtures.

13. Dump out old fish tank water onto your outdoor landscape or houseplants.

14. Take brief showers instead of baths.

15. Use one glass for drinking water each day and reduce the number of glasses that need washing.

16. Match the water level to the size of the load when doing laundry, if your washing offers this feature.

17. Soak pots and pans instead of letting the water run while you scrub.

18. Don’t water your landscape on windy or rainy days.
